We got the opportunity to visit the Air force Academy last week for Makia's 10 year class reunion. Wow, time sure does fly by fast!!! I had such a great time meeting all of Makia's squadron mates, and catching up with the ones I hadn't seen since our wedding. I couldn't think of a more appropriate place to be on the 10th anniversary of 9/11. All the guys were so great and their wives were such lovely people. It's neat to know that the same group of guys that met on day one of basic are still very good friends today. They may not keep in touch on a regular basis, but it's nice to see them pick right back up where they left off! Hearing all their past stories, and seeing them joke around really brought such great laughter! Here are some pictures from this past week. They are in no particular order.
